Hello!

It’s definitely conference time at the moment! After the very inspiring blogger conference The Hive in Berlin three weeks ago, we’re going to attend Meet the Blogger next week.

Again inspired by a tweet we discovered this 1-Day conference which is taking place in Amsterdam, a city we always wanted to visit. The event is focused on home design and lifestyle, as the Dutch have a multitude of gorgeous design blogs.

While counting down the time to the event, the organizers offered a wide range of pre-conference services on their website which we really liked:

1. Bloggers United
Attending bloggers had the opportunity to introduce themselves to the other attendees via a little questionnaire and pictures. Here’s post about sisterMAG.

2. Attendees List
You’re able to browse all attendees’ blogs beforehand. This is a great tool, especially for people like us who don’t know many of the attending bloggers. It was so much fun to have an afternoon session of browsing all those great blogs.

First of all there are the speakers Frida Ramstedt of Trendenser, the stylist Pippa Jameson, Yvonne Eijkenduijn of yvestown (we love the idea ofyvestown fair which is a Handmade Market) and Danielle de Lange of The Style Files.

Then of course there are some blogger attendees who we’ve followed for a long time and where we are happy to meet them in person finally (hopefully we find them): Thea’s fellow IKEA Family Home contributors: Vosges Paris and Domestic Stories with Ivy. We are looking forward to meet Nina from Stylizimo. Then we are happy to see Deepa // Currystrumpet again who we met at The Hive.

And finally I saw so many inspiring blogs while browsing the attendees, just to name a few: Vlinspiratie, Velvetine, Space for Inspiration, Mint Studio Creations, Livlig, I love Eco or April and May – we hope to meet you all :-)

3. vtwonen meet the blogger award

Bloggers could nominate their favorite homedeco/design/lifestyle blog to win the first Dutch blogger award.

We’re really looking forward to the upcoming weekend, especially as we found a lovely apartment through Roomorama on Prinsengracht and have long list of “Things to see and do” in Amsterdam from Deepa.
